The department
JACK & JONES E-commerce is a young and dynamic department driven by the ambition to become a leading online shop within the fashion industry. You will experience an international environment with colleagues from around the world and be a part of an in-house digital team, working to make jackjones.com the best and preferred place for online shopping. You will join a group of elite designers and developers striving to be the best and consistently deliver high quality sites and projects.
The job
You will be a part of the team building the frontend & backend of our online presence, with a focus on great user experience and usability. Our online approach has always been customer oriented, and we make an effort to understand, plan and execute the best strategies to ensure that our visitor and customer objectives are met. Here you will work with all aspects of our online universe – from building complete sites or web applications, to ensuring new inspirational online content and optimizing the frontend of our online store. Thereby you are involved in your projects from start to finish – with special focus on areas like UX and UI.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a developer
- Expert in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Working proficiency of XML and JSON data
- An ability to effectively convey information, concepts and ideas to others
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js and React
- Knowledge of Git, CI, unit tests and functional tests
- Knowledge of AWS Services
- Knowledge of Azure Services
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop and creative work.
While experience and a relevant educational background is a plus, we value passion and a strong portfolio above all.
