The role
Prettylittlething.com is looking for a mid/senior level Frontend JavaScript developer who would like the opportunity to work in an exciting growth environment. As a React/NextJS Developer you will have strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills, teamed with an excellent knowledge of the latest technologies and have a tangible input into our product development. The Developer will drive our work forward, improve performance and stability of our systems and develop software engineering best practice across the organisation. Our Developers share their knowledge and mentor upcoming talent.
What we're looking for
- You will be an experienced and proactive developer with a minimum 2 years of proven experience in ReactJS/Next JS with TypeScript.
- You will have a strong focus on delivering quality through good software design.
Essential:
- Proficient in ReactJS / Next JS / TypeScript
- Redux/Webhooks HTML and CSS (Sass) Experience working with RESTful APIs
- Style frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation Gulp, Git
- Unit, functional and end to end testing using Jest, Cypress or any well-known framework
Desirable:
- React Native experience or knowledge
- Experience working in sprints
- Experience of Agile development approaches and use of Jira or equivalent
- Exposure to AWS technologies
- Experience implementing solutions for enterprise integrations between third-party tools is advantageous.
- You will have strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships with a team.
- Most importantly you will enjoy problem solving working in a dynamic environment.
- You will be capable of explaining complex problems to non-technical business stakeholders.
