We are looking to expand our development capabilities in a new exciting team that is developing a new backend system for our social gaming platforms. There will be no legacy code, lots of automation and scaling on the cloud that will make you focus only on what matters most: building exciting features for our players. Of course, you will be using the latest .NET Core technologies, Docker, GraphQL, WebSocket on AWS Cloud. Within our open environment, you will have the chance to participate in the shaping process and come up with new ideas!
Your Tasks
- Develop mission-critical optimized and scalable code for handling millions of game events per second
- Handle up to 50.000 simultaneous players and provide them real-time data via WebSocket connection
- Develop single page admin interface using VueJs
- Write unit tests that guarantee successful deployments in production
- Be part of the technical meetings and bring your knowledge into finding the best solutions for new features
- Apply Extreme Programming practices (TDD, Code Reviews, Pair programming, etc...)
Your Profile
You are proficient with:
- .NET framework 4.5+ (.NET core is a plus)
- WebAPI
- Entity framework
- Dependency injection
- High-performance SQL (Entity Framework core or Dapper are a plus)
- Unit testing
- Microservices
- Experience with at least one of the following frontend technologies: VueJs, Angular, React, Svelte, Ember
- Fluent in English as this is the official company language
Nice to Have
- Amazon AWS experience
- GraphQL
- .NET Reactive Extensions
- Experience with at least one message queue system
- Advanced SQL database knowledge
- Building automation experience
