MealSuite is looking for a Fullstack PHP developer to join our development team on our mission to revolutionize the continuum of care through our all-in-one foodservice management technology. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining websites and web applications from end to end. This includes both back-end and front-end development, as well as managing databases and creating seamless user experiences. You will work closely with designers, marketing and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions for our clients. A strong eye for UX/UI and the ability to adapt to the needs of a fast-paced marketing agency or consulting environment are essential.
Requirements
- Strong English communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design, development, and business objectives align.
- Build and develop websites and web applications from start to finish, including backend, database, and front-end components.
- Write efficient, maintainable PHP code, focusing on plain PHP with minimal framework reliance.
- Manage back-end services, server-side logic, and databases using MySQL and PropelORM.
- Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap, ensuring compatibility across browsers and devices.
- Design and maintain database schemas, manage data relationships, and optimize database queries for performance.
- Collaborate with design teams to build user-centric, visually appealing, and functional websites. Ensure seamless user experience across all platforms.
- Integrate third-party services and external APIs, enabling enhanced functionality and features for web applications.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in code, databases, or UI/UX.
- Refactor and optimize legacy code to improve maintainability, performance, and scalability.
- Maintain thorough and clear documentation of code and development workflows.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with React, Angular, or Vue.js for dynamic front-end development.
- Familiarity with PHP frameworks like Laravel is a plus.
- Experience using design tools such as Figma or similar to collaborate with design teams.
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools for project tracking and management.
