Muval is Australia’s biggest online booking platform for moving house and we consider ourselves the ‘new home of moving’. Over the past few years, we've helped over 30,000 Australians book quality moving services and relocate with ease, and are growing fast!
What's the opportunity?
This is an opportunity to take a senior position in a talented software development team building a product that thousands of people use every month. You'll report directly to the CTO who, frankly, is an absolute weapon of a developer.
You'll enjoy using all the latest tooling as our product is brand new and uses the latest of everything (huzzah! no outdated legacy code / systems to maintain!)
We believe that product-builders should feel ownership and share in the upside of what they're building. That's why as part of this role you'll be invited to participate in our Employee Share Option Program (ESOP).
Candidate attributes
- 5+ years of experience working in a product-focused company (not an agency) using Laravel and/or Vue.js. In the case of front-end experience, 3 years of experience with Vue and 2+ years of experience with another framework like React or Angular is sufficient.
- You enjoy coding to best-practice standards
- You know how to balance business needs with a deployment schedule to deliver results
- You like simple solutions to problems and know how to avoid uneccesary complexity
- You like mentoring and demonstrating best practices to other young, enthusiastic and skilled developers
- You thrive in early-stage organisations that give you ownership, autonomy and a chance to have a real impact on the future of the company
- You know how to find solutions to problems you haven't faced before
