Experienced Laravel Developer
Join our team as a Laravel Developer and use your experience with modern PHP and Laravel to build robust, scalable web applications. You'll collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and strategists to deliver seamless, high-performance user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain back-end functionality using PHP 8.0+ and Laravel 11.0+.
- Build and consume REST APIs for internal and external applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers using Vue 3 and InertiaJS for unified, dynamic experiences.
- Design and optimize database structures in MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Use TailwindCSS, Composer, npm, or yarn for dependency management and front-end integration.
- Write clean, reusable, and testable code following SOLID principles and Laravel best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Deploy and maintain web applications (DigitalOcean experience a plus).
- Use Git and GitLab for version control and collaboration.
- Document workflows, APIs, and technical decisions clearly.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of professional experience in back-end web development.
- Proficiency in PHP 8.0+ and Laravel 11.0+.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of Vue 3, JavaScript, and TypeScript (helpful).
- Familiarity with TailwindCSS and modern Laravel front-end tools such as InertiaJS.
- Understanding of relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
- Experience with Git and GitLab workflows.
- Ability to write maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience within the Laravel ecosystem (Forge, Vapor, Nova, Horizon) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience deploying to DigitalOcean, AWS, or similar environments.
- Familiarity with caching and queueing systems (Redis, Horizon, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (PHPUnit, Pest).
- Background in agency or collaborative development environments.
Work Environment
- Remote position — may require occasional travel for meetings, workshops, or in person team events.

- Pay: $92,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
