At Prorenata, we build tools for managing sensitive data in Swedish schools. We do this by trying to make processes that can be very complex seem as simple, intuitive and, well, fun as possible to our users. We also do this using modern, but stable tooling and technologies. In our case, we have a python/django backend and a frontend that is currently being transitioned to Vue.js and Vuex.
What do we want you to do?
The whole Prorenata team is 30 people strong and growing. Half of that team works with product development, and out of those, three engineers work full time with frontend development. We are now making a push to extend that team. That's where you come in. This is not a management position, but we do value good mentorship, so it would be great if you could:
Advise on all major architectural decisions regarding the frontend Take the lead when we need to bury ourselves deep in the code Teach and mentor our junior developers, helping them grow professionally Help us stake out the product direction, technically And of course, code. Help us build our in-house UI framework in Vue.js, build new features from scratch or improve on existing ones, fix bugs and help us make sure we don't introduce new ones.

Where are we?
Prorenata is a Swedish company based out of Stockholm. While we are working from home during these times and we have a generous work-from-home policy, this is a Stockholm based position, not fully remote, and you will need to be able to come in to the office regularly, if not every day.
Skills & Requirements
We believe that it is important that you have:
- 5-10 years of experience of frontend web development
- Experience in modern JavaScript development (React, Vue or Angular for instance), including toolchain configuration and strong opinions on automatic semicolon insertion. Ok, maybe not the last bit.
- A mentoring mindset and a willingness to share your knowledge and experience
- Good communication skills in English
