What will be your main challenges?
We are looking for a talented Senior Tech Engineer (Front End) to be part of the Publishing Engineering team and be in charge of Voodoo’s publishing platform. You will work closely with the product manager and the product designer to work on the platform roadmap regarding technical aspects. You will fully participate in the choice of the design and you will code the front end part of the platform.
This platform is used both internally (by Publishing managers, internal studios, customer success and Legal teams) and externally (by thousands of external studios).

With this role you will have a strong impact on the company as the publishing platform is key for the relationship with studios and for all the steps of a game life cycle, from testing, getting insights and feedback on the prototypes, iterating on the game until its launch.
The platform is therefore crucial to our core business and our capacity to test and deliver hit games in a quick, frictionless and efficient way.
What is your team about?
This year, Voodoo is focusing on tech recruitment. When it comes to growth, several bottlenecks we’ve previously experienced involve the projects that our tech teams are working on every day, such as our brand new publishing platform designed to support studios and game launches, our marketing performance and optimization systems based on machine learning, and improving the attractiveness of our games and user retention, all of which we approach using internal data collecting solutions, analysis, and A/B testing. Based on our principles and values, you will have the opportunity to join our strong Growth & Engineering department, composed of around 40 people.
Be a part of a small, independent, helpful, and high-performing team of less than ten back end and front end Engineers. Come and work with us to solve complex problems using top of the range technology. You will all work together in continuously developing the platform. You will allow studios to optimise their games and increase the margin.

What do we expect?
- Solid experience building front-end applications
- Appetite for UI/UX and attention to detail on both Interaction and visual design
- Familiarity working in a team in Agile development-Care about code quality, simplicity and performance
- At least one significant experience using one of the following languages intensively: Javascript, Go, Scala or C#
- Eagerness to learn new skills and code using new languages

The salary will depend on the experience and skills a candidate brings to the position in line with the levels outlined in the Voodoo Career Path.
